For the naturally slim with a small appetite: seven traditional digestive herbs, taken before meals, to make eating more feel easier.
Some people are built slim and have never been big eaters. Gaining weight comes down to eating more than you burn, which is hard when you are rarely hungry for more. Nourish is a classic Chinese formula for a small appetite and food that sits heavy: seven herbs, several of them foods, used for generations before meals. Hawthorn, malt, sprouted grains and radish seed are the traditional pairing for rich food that lingers; pseudostellaria, Chinese yam and tangerine peel for a poor appetite. Take it before your two main meals, alongside a plan built on calorie-dense food.

Who it's for
Radish seed, hawthorn and the sprouted grains are what Chinese medicine has long used when food sits heavy and the plate stays half full.
Some people are built small with a small appetite. Nourish is there to make the extra food you need easier to get through, alongside the habits below.
Tangerine peel and hawthorn are the traditional pairing for rich meals that linger, taken 30 minutes before you sit down.
Nothing here forces hunger. These are food-like herbs, among them yam, malt, sprouted grains and citrus peel.
What is inside
Seven herbs in a 1,000 mg blend per serving. Every herb is named on the label, and the blend contains barley malt, so it is not gluten-free.
7 named herbs

"Prince ginseng", the restorative root of the formula, traditionally given to people who are run down and eating little.

A nourishing root, and a food in its own right, traditionally used for a weak appetite.

Aged citrus peel, bitter and aromatic, used in Chinese medicine to stir a sluggish appetite.

Traditionally taken with rich, heavy meals that sit too long.

Sprouted barley, traditionally used for the starchy half of a meal.

Sprouted rice, the gentler partner to malt, for the same job.

Traditionally used for the over-full, bloated feeling after eating.
How to use it
One capsule with a full glass of water, 30 minutes before your two main meals, on an empty stomach. No more than three capsules a day.
Eat at the same times every day, and add snacks between meals as they get easier.
Track your weight and how meals feel, and judge it over the full month. The scale follows the extra food, not the capsule.
Alongside it

If a full plate feels like too much, eat five smaller meals instead of three large ones. It adds up to more food with less effort.

Add foods that are rich without being filling: nut butters, olive oil, whole milk, avocado.

Strength training twice a week means more of what you gain is muscle rather than fat.
